The members of Northport Indian Mission UMC invite you to our Annual Summer Camp Meeting!
Join Northport Indian UMC this Summer at our beautiful four 4 1/2 acre campground nestled into the Northland’s Maples and Oaks. The grounds include a tabernacle for camp meetings, a dining hall, showers, bathrooms, walking trails and more. This campground is located about 5 miles from our Church building. Just South of Northport off M-22 (West Bay Drive) on Camp Haven Rd.

Edwin Taylor from Walpole Island First Nations will be our guest speaker. Edwin is one of the pastors of his church, and a learner and teacher of the Ojibwe Language. He is also a guitar player and sings in Ojibwe.
He and his wife will join us for the camp meeting and he will speak and share songs at each session.
The meetings are nightly Friday and Saturday and then Sunday morning at 11:00.
Saturday Afternoon Workshop 1:30pm – 3:30pm: Introduction to the Ojibwe Language by Edwin Taylor.
Evening Schedule for Friday and Saturday
5:00 pm — Pot Luck Meal.
6:30 pm — Hymn Sing.
7:00 pm — Special Music.
7:30 pm — Guest Speaker
9:00 pm — More Food and Fellowship.
Final Meeting at the campground: 11:00 am — Sunday morning with a meal following.
